The opportunity:
We have an opportunity available for a DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure, Engineering and Quality team. Within this role you will educate technology teams in DevOps ways of working to allow them to understand and embrace the objectives of this space. You will also support with building and maintaining the DevSecOps Platform based on solutions provided by the Technical Lead. Furthermore, this role will have a key focus on delivering the relevant self-service framework for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

To do this successfully you will:

  • Mentor and educate software teams in DevSecOps practices to drive best practice and innovation in software delivery and operation
  • Provide assistance to architects on establishing guidance, governance and blueprints related to the DevSecOps/CICD ecosystem
  • Build, optimise and maintain CI and CD pipelines for faster, more secure, reliable software delivery
  • Work across both business and technology to introduce and promote DevSecOps practices and toolsets to increase adoption and effect cultural change.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Experience participating in a transformation to DevOps practices
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in communicating new ideas and leading through change
  • Strong Experience with DevSecOps toolsets, platforms and concepts including CI/CD, Containerisation, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Jfrog Artifactory, Nexus, Helm, Prisma, Veracode
  • Experience in applying the following cloud technologies – Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, AKV ideal but not essential
  • Strong experience with DevOps-related scripting languages (e.g. YAML, Python, Terraform, Groovy).
