OVERVIEW

The Digital Design and Delivery Division (DDD) is seeking a DevOps Specialist (OpenShift Lead) to support and lead OpenShift clusters (cloud & on-prem), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modernization of deployment practices. The role spans multiple projects, working with ministries, internal teams, and vendors, to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure platforms.

• Lead and manage OpenShift platform operations (cloud & on-prem).
• Architect and deliver infrastructure projects (cluster rebuilds, expansions).
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Implement security best practices (RBAC, patching, encryption).
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and upgrades with Ansible, Helm, Terraform.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize clusters and applications.
• Create dashboards and scripts for observability and efficiency.
• Support BuildMaster upgrades and other DevOps/container tools.
• Define and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
