Your role

Why this assignment?

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will help us with the further development of our central observability and security platform. You have extensive experience with observability in AWS and other multi-cloud environments and are capable of realizing technical improvements from design to implementation.

Our DevOps platform offers various capabilities that enable development teams to develop and manage software securely and reliably:

Monitoring Observability: Central facilities for monitoring, alerting, log collection, log retention, and analytics using, among others, Grafana Cloud, Grafana Alloy, and OpenTelemetry.
Building Releasing: CI/CD pipelines and software delivery with GitLab, including security scans and automated checks.
Security Compliance: DevOps Security Baselines, vulnerability management, and strengthening security within platforms and software delivery processes.
Platform Enablement: Supporting development teams with the adoption of observability, security, and vulnerability management.

What exactly does the job entail?

You will further develop our observability platform and help build our central facilities for log collection, monitoring, and log retention into a future-proof solution within a multi-cloud architecture. In doing so, you will work with Grafana Cloud, Grafana Alloy, OpenTelemetry, GitLab, and various cloud platforms, among others.
You strengthen security within our CI/CD platforms and software delivery processes and contribute to the implementation of DevOps Security Baselines. Additionally, you help development teams effectively apply observability, security, and vulnerability management.
You are hands-on and can independently design, implement, and transfer technical improvements. In doing so, you work closely with engineers within the team and with development teams that use our platform services.
You monitor developments in the field of digital resilience, security, and relevant laws and regulations. You know how to proactively translate these developments into concrete and future-proof improvements to our platform.
