Job Description: The DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting and enhancing the company’s infrastructure, deployment processes, and system automation to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of TechX’s platforms and services. This role will work closely with development, data, and IT operations teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and infrastructure automation, contributing to both DevOps and MLOps initiatives under Khoa’s leadership. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure & System Reliability Manage, monitor, and maintain infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance through proactive monitoring and tuning. Implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices. Collaborate with IT Operations (Nam Hong’s team) on infrastructure improvements and incident response. CI/CD & Automation Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and testing. Automate routine processes including provisioning, deployment, and monitoring. Work with development teams to integrate and streamline code delivery and release workflows. Optimize existing deployment and build processes for speed, reliability, and traceability. DevOps & MLOps Integration Support MLOps workflows and domain analytics environments (e.g., model deployment, environment setup, data pipelines). Collaborate with data engineers and ML teams to ensure system compatibility and stable model operations. Contribute to defining best practices for data and model lifecycle management. Monitoring, Security & Incident Management Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. Ensure compliance with internal security and governance requirements. Maintain and document operational standards, deployment guides, and recovery procedures. Continuous Improvement & Collaboration Identify opportunities to improve system performance and deployment efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally with development, IT Ops, and data teams to enhance DevOps maturity. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. Key Requirements: Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience 3–5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer. Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance. Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and on-premise systems. Familiar with MLOps concepts or exposure to data/AI platform environments (a plus). Technical Skills Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.). Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiar with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent). Solid understanding of networking, system administration, and security principles. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Scripting/programming knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar). Familiarity with Linux server environments and automation practices. Soft Skills Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams. Proactive attitude toward process improvement and automation.
