Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a DevOps Engineer you will work in a project-focused capacity, playing a critical role in building, deploying, configuring, securing, and automating the infrastructure that supports a high-availability platform, working predominantly within AWS, using both Terraform and Ansible.
Additionally, the DevOps Engineer will develop automation and tooling in Python to support infrastructure operations and CI/CD processes, whilst also working to troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud, network, and Linux-based systems.

WHAT’S REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

  • Proven experience with AWS cloud services and architecture design, specifically S3 and EC2
  • High level experience in writing Python
  • Strong hands-on skills in Infrastructure-as-Code, especially with Terraform.
  • Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems - specifically Ubuntu
  • Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, ECS, or EKS).
