Tucows Domains is the world’s largest wholesale domain registrar, responsible for maintaining the health, neutrality, and openness of an important—but largely invisible part of the Internet: the domain name system (DNS).
As part of Tucows—one of the world’s largest Internet companies—Tucows Domains has a rich history of helping make the Internet better, operating globally under the Ascio, Enom, Hover and OpenSRS brands.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Tucows Wholesale Domains is looking for a self-motivated and highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will implement, automate, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines for our teams. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment, helping teams leverage AWS to achieve operational excellence, security, reliability, and continuous delivery of applications.
You serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the cloud-native infrastructure design. You mentor other engineers during the duration of the projects you work on. You interface with other engineering teams in the organization to come up with the best solutions based on their requirements and you actively seek the best ways to architect the platforms.
The incumbent will be part of a talented, growing team and work in a dynamic environment with multiple teams where you challenge and propose creative and effective solutions to maintain and improve reliability while helping to ensure the operational excellence of our platforms is maintained.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ready to make a lasting impact on the Domain Business and work on large architectures while growing their career and help others in a relatively fast-paced environment working with fundamental Internet technologies.
This is a remote position for applicants in Canada or USA.
