Your tasks:

• Operation, maintenance and optimization of the on-premises cloud and other internal project services
• Design and maintenance of modular IaC with Terraform (planning, status, version control)
• Development of automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible)
• Operation and troubleshooting of Ceph Storage
• Responsibility for monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
• Application of security principles (vulnerability analysis, SAST, access control, 2FA, VPN)
• Maintaining documentation, best practices, onboarding team members, and supporting other development teams.
• Definition and monitoring of SLIs, responsibility for SLOs and coordination of SLAs with stakeholders

Your knowledge / experience:

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, information technology or a comparable field, or comparable technical vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) with relevant professional experience in the field of networks, infrastructure or DevOps.
• "Everything as Code" mindset and automation orientation
• Automation with Ansible, Terraform and Cloud-Init
• Knowledge of OpenStack operation is an advantage.
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes and Helm charts)
• Prometheus and Grafana (metrics, dashboards, alert pipeline)
• Scripting (Bash and Python, PowerShell is an advantage)
• Solid knowledge of Linux tools, network technology and databases; experience with Git and CI/CD integration
• Passion for optimizing best practices and modernizing the tech stack
• Experience in software development and debugging in at least one programming language
• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking skills as well as a structured, independent work style.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, experience in matrix organizations
• Excellent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
