In this role you will enhance and maintain new and existing DevOps process and culture on Calastone’s agile work-stream teams. Partnering with our Engineering and Infrastructure teams, you will help build systems and test automation infrastructure.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Crucial – The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a commercial appreciation of:

• Kubernetes application deployments and troubleshooting.
• Terraform or other IaC tools for deploying to the cloud
• Experience and understanding of GitHub Actions.
• PowerShell or Bash – Scripting experience is essential.
• Cloud environment experience Azure – Essential
• Configuration Management tooling experience: Chef – Puppet or Ansible.
• Agile development practices.

Advantageous – The ideal candidate would have some level of knowledge in one or more of the following:

• Management and Support of Monitoring tools, DataDog.
• Test Driven Development – Unit testing frameworks, mocking frameworks, and patterns for testability.
• Configuration and management of Linux Servers
• Version control systems such as git
• Bash or Python

• Maintain and improve the Continuous Integration and Delivery systems and their usage in the development and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain and enhance existing Helm charts and Chef cookbooks
• Become part of the Development Workstreams alongside Development, Infrastructure, Security and Database specialists
