POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
  • Optimize cloud application performance and scalability through effective monitoring and tuning.
  • Ensure security best practices are adhered to in the development and deployment of cloud solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for cloud-based applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and innovations to recommend and implement new tools and practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in one or more cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with serverless architecture and microservices design.
  • Solid experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and data storage solutions in cloud environments.
  • Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

CGI Federal anticipates accepting applications for this position through 2025-10-15.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $195,200.00.
