Citylink is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Team.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of AWS experience across services including: EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, Route 53, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager.
· Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Helm.
· Proven expertise with GitLab (self-hosted and cloud) CI/CD pipelines.
· Strong knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
· Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python, YAML.
· Experience managing VPNs, networking, and firewalls.
· Familiarity with API Gateway and Cognito authentication.
· Experience with JIRA / Confluence for project tracking.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As Citylink’s DevOps Engineer, be responsible for the support, monitoring and tooling of the Cloud deployment infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
The Dev Ops Engineer will work closely with the Systems Architect, Development and QA team to produce reliable and secure production infrastructures and operate multiple environments in the software development process
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker and demonstrated team-player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management
o Provision and manage AWS environments (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Route 53, Systems Manager, etc.) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
o Configure networking components (VPCs, peering, Site -Site VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS/GoDaddy).
o Deploy secure, high-availability microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) with Helm and eksctl.
· CI/CD & Automation
o Build and maintain pipelines in GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
o Manage container registries (ECR, Docker Hub) and handle container lifecycle.
· Monitoring & Observability
o Implement monitoring with CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) + Fluent Bit.
o Set up alerting and dashboards for proactive issue resolution and cost optimization.
· Security
o Enforce AWS security best practices: IAM policies, KMS, TLS/SSL, Secrets Manager, security groups, and firewall rules.
o Follow the principle of least Privilege for Access to AWS services
· Collaboration & Support
o Work with developers to deploy and configure tools and systems.
o Use JIRA and Confluence for agile task tracking and documentation.
o Provide Tier-1 response for infrastructure issues and security events.
