At Xccelerated, we're looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to help evolve and scale a cloud data platform at a large, customer-facing energy organisation. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, data scientists and platform teams to build a robust, secure and reliable foundation for data-driven innovation.

🚀 What You'll Be DoingAs a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in building, running and improving the foundation of a modern data ecosystem.🔹 Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS🔹 Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)🔹 Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation, mainly in Python🔹 Keep the platform stable, observable and cost-efficient, and continuously improve it🔹 Enable data scientists and data engineers to bring pipelines and models into production🔹 Contribute to the architecture and roadmap of the data platform, and sparring with your teammates as a senior
👨 💻 Who You AreYou are a hands-on senior engineer who enjoys building scalable platforms and working in complex technical environments.✅ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cloud, IT, or a related field✅ 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering or DevOps✅ Strong experience with AWS cloud services✅ Hands-on experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)✅ Strong Python skills✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices✅ Familiar with tools like Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, dbt or Kafka is a plus✅ Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
