Remote Status: Fully Remote
Job Type & Title: DevOps Engineer
Schedule: Full time hours
Starting Salary: 2,500.00US

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps
  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow through, and multitasking abilities.
  • Able to drive results with a sense of urgency relative to the end user.
  • Decisiveness, good judgment, analytical/math aptitude, and problem-solving skills to act with authority and take risks in an environment with little direction from others.
  • Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Language: Must be fluent in English speaking, reading & writing. Spanish is a plus.
  • Two years or more experience in a DevOps or similar role
  • Professional certifications, while not a minimum requirement, would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and support build pipelines
  • Develop and support deployment pipelines
  • Mentoring developers that want to make their own pipelines
  • Manage release process
  • Design new IaC pipelines
  • Contribute to existing IaC pipelines
  • Write and update relevant documentation
  • Provide accurate ticket estimation
  • Troubleshoot and fix production issues
  • Troubleshoot and fix non-production issues
  • Maintain, support, upgrade third-party tools
  • Open and manage vendor tickets

OTHER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with software engineers on environment issues
  • Keep up with current trends in technology
  • Work with existing Infrastructure and Networking teams, both in the cloud and on-prem
  • Manage DNS and certificates
