We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Blockchain, Kubernetes, and AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient development and deployment processes, high availability, and seamless operation of our applications and services. This role is ideal for you, if you are an engineer passionate about automation, scalability, and enabling rapid development through modern DevOps practices. You will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS (using EKS or self-managed setups), architecting and implementing scalable and cost-efficient solutions
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automating application deployment processes for maximum efficiency and reliability. Package software in reproducible and auditable ways
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions, proactively troubleshooting issues and ensuring system health
  • Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices (including secrets management) implement access controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Implement automated vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows
  • Automation and Scripting: Write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible, CloudFormation or Pulumi and automate tasks to improve operational efficiency using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, QA and security teams to build cloud-native applications, integrate testing and compliance checks into deployment pipelines

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles
  • Proven experience in managing production environments with Kubernetes and AWS
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: knowledge of logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry and AWS CloudWatch
  • Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and network configurations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience maintaining blockchain nodes. Familiarity with block producing ones is a plus
  • Experience with service meshes like Istio, Ambassador or Linkerd
  • Knowledge of event-based and serverless architectures, hosted and self-hosted
  • Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
  • Familiarity with secrets management best practices and tooling (e.g., vault)
  • Familiarity with tooling such as: argocd/flux/tekton, Terragrunt, Podman, Earthly, Keycloak, (ha) postgres
  • More traditional HTTP/proxy servers (apache/nginx)
  • Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) and Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, CKAD)

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across teams
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and evolving requirements
