Description

If you’re passionate about DevOps, automation, and security and you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation is a team effort, this opportunity may be for you!
Digital Boundary Group (DBG) is a leading cybersecurity firm and a division of DRT Cyber. We specialize in security assessments, research, and secure software development. We are currently hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our R&D team and help enhance our infrastructure and software security.
We recognize that we all flourish in different working environments. That is why we offer a flexible work arrangement where you choose if you would like to work remotely from the comfort of your own home, from our London, Ontario office, or a combination of the two!

Responsibilities
  • Apply your experience with vulnerability management to evaluate security patches, prioritize risks, and coordinate timely, safe rollouts.
  • Track emerging threats and dependency issues using your attention to detail and understanding of the threat landscape.
  • Build and enhance automation workflows for patching and vulnerability scanning to reduce manual work and improve response times.
  • Collaborate with developers to promote secure coding practices and guide them on effective patch management strategies.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with a security-first mindset.
  • Integrate automated security checks into deployment pipelines to catch issues early and increase deployment confidence.
  • Use infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible to manage and harden environments consistently across development and production.
  • Support hotfixes and patch rollouts without interrupting business operations.
  • Implement and manage tools for SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning as part of the secure SDLC.
  • Strengthen container security by enforcing least-privilege access and secure configurations across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Contribute to incident detection and response by supporting logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Collaborate with Development and IT leadership to maintain secure, scalable, and reliable systems.
  • Keep product owners and security teams informed of critical issues, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
