HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE

As a DevOps Engineer at Emesent, you will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and optimising the infrastructure, automation pipelines, and tooling that support our engineering teams. You’ll leverage your expertise in containerisation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and AWS to ensure our build and test environments are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
You will work closely with software engineers and IT to improve build performance, enhance observability, and ensure our systems operate securely and efficiently.

• Proficient in developing automation scripts and tools in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

• Experience with Groovy scripting and JavaScript/TypeScript modules to extend GitHub Actions functionality.
• Familiarity with administering and optimising storage solutions (SMB, DFS, NFS, iSCSI, CEPH) in mixed-platform environments, including performance troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying and configuring monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki, with defined metrics, alerts, and KPIs for proactive issue detection.
