CLIENT CONVERSION & INTEGRATION

We work closely with our stakeholders across the Bank, including Corporate Bank’s business areas, the Bank’s other pillars and Technology and Operations. We aim to deliver products and solutions that are easy-to-use, reliable, stable, flexible, quick-to-market, innovative, scalable and cost efficient. We act as a “translation layer” for the business, aligning and translating client and market needs into something that can be developed. The Client Conversion & Integration team within Corporate Bank Technology is responsible for the efficient delivery of conversion services offered by Corporate Bank to their clients. As member of our team you will be based in Berlin, Germany and work as an engineer for MessageBroker-DCS application.
We are looking for experienced and highly motivated DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) who will help with a migration application from AIX platform to Linux/GCP according to technical requirements and enhanced CI/CD pipelines to increase product quality, system reliability and level of automation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Google Cloud Platform understanding (GKE, App Engine, Cloud Builds, Cloud Runs)
  • Experience implementing fault-tolerant / load-balancing solutions
  • Enterprise applications integration experience
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and/or noSQL solutions
  • Good knowledge of Unix
  • Knowledge in perl/python is a plus
  • Unix command/shell scripting experience
  • Good communication skills: fluent in English to communicate with stakeholders/ team members
Responsibilities
  • Active supporting of user acceptance and end-2-end testing with partner systems (technical interconnect).
  • Working in the global international team following agile development practices.
  • Participate in migration of productive system from AIX to Linux (on-premisis and GCP).
  • Configuration the automation deployment according to SDLC controls and requirements.
  • Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture. (Active-active configuration for productive cluster on Linux).
  • When product and architecture experience gained, mentor and direct more junior developers.
  • Active participation in upgrades/migration of backend systems (WTX, Openshift).
  • TeamCity CI/CD configuration.
