Corporate Banking is a technology centric business, with an increasing move to real-time processing, an increasing appetite from customers for integrated systems and access to supporting data. This means that technology is more important than ever for the business.
Our Corporate Bank Technology team is a global team of 3000 coders (and growing!) across 30 countries. The primary businesses that Corporate Bank support are Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade Finance and Trust & Agency Services. CB Technology support these businesses through CIO aligned teams and also by ‘horizontals’ such as Client Connectivity, Surveillance and Regulatory, Infrastructure, Architecture, Production, and Risk & Control.
Cloud API Management Platform represents a managed Software as a Service on Google Cloud Platform, based on Google Apigee X Product. This solution is the Deutsche Bank’s strategic Cloud API Management Platform for development and runtime of cloud API Proxies across the organization.
We are seeking for a junior DevOps Engineer to be part of our delivery squad inside the API Tribe.
We want a colleague that is eager to learn different technologies towards delivering high quality software for building scalable, performant and secure API Infrastructure.
Our engineers design solutions, code, configure application, build automated tests, deploy artefacts in different environments. And most important they support one another, not only in this team and domain, but across the bank.
We will support you to become proficient at all those aspects and more. All we need you to do is to want it and work for it, side by side, with us.

SKILLS

• Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems run on Google Cloud
• Experience with automated infrastructure provisioning based on Terraform, Terraform Enterprise or Ansible
• Experience with development utilizing software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools including Git, JIRA, Github
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and patterns for CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge about API Management Platforms (WSO2, Apigee, Kong) would be a plus

• Hands-on contribution into software development efforts
• Provision and configure infrastructure – Infrastructure as a code
• Deliver automation through CI/CD pipelines
• delivering Observability dashboards and implementing SLI/SLO framework.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of API Platform and Product developments
