About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join Payments Application Operations team in Pune , India. The ideal candidate is passionate about reliability, automation, performance, and building scalable systems that support customer environments across a wide range of infrastructures on the cloud. This role combines DevOps engineering expertise with strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and an obsession for operational excellence. You will work closely with DevOps, and Customer Success teams to ensure that our environments are stable, secure, and continuously improving. Responsibilities Environment & Deployment Ownership Own and support our SaaS customer environments on Azure Cloud. Manage release deployments, upgrades, hotfixes, and environment provisioning. Ensure high reliability and availability through proactive monitoring and automation. Drive configuration and environment consistency across multiple customers. Reliability, Monitoring & Incident Management Set up and maintain observability stacks (metrics, logging, tracing). Handle production incidents: triage, mitigation, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions. Establish SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets together with R&D and DevOps. Improve mean-time-to-detect (MTTD) and mean-time-to-recover (MTTR). Automation & Tooling Automate repetitive tasks and operational processes (Terraform, Ansible, scripting, pipelines). Implement safeguards, self-healing mechanisms, and automated validation steps. Performance, Scaling & Optimization Monitor performance and capacity across all environments. Security & Compliance Ensure systems follow security best practices and vulnerability remediation. Maintain environment isolation, access policies, and audit trails. Cross-Team Collaboration Partner with DevOps, R&D, and Customer Success to deliver a smooth customer experience. Provide technical guidance and documentation to internal teams. Participate in on-call rotation. Required Skills: 5+Yrs 4+Yrs Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration. 3+Yrs in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitHub, etc.). 3+Yrs Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS – at least one is required). 4+Yrs Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or similar). 3+Yrs Experience with IaC (Terraform, Helm, Ansible). 3+Yrs Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) who can create Monitoring in tool (like Grafana) Strong experience with networking fundamentals, and distributed systems. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across distributed environments. Nice to Have Experience supporting enterprise customers. Background in FinOps or cost optimization. Exposure to data-heavy or high-throughput systems. Soft Skills Ownership and accountability mindset. Strong communication skills. Ability to work under pressure during incidents.
