DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Our dedicated team is working to shape the embedded software development for all 360° surround view and situational awareness products, as well as underwater optronics systems from HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH, and to provide our customers with first-class products. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for this department.

Your tasks

• Conception, development and maintenance of a software solution with customer-specific features.
• Development, maintenance and optimization of automated build servers and CI/CD pipelines
• Administration, configuration and support of Linux systems
• Management and maintenance of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman)
• Management and setup of project networks
• Collaboration with developers to optimize build and deployment processes.
• Securing and hardening Linux servers according to best practices
• Use of modern software technologies and tools (git, Atlassian, CMake, C++17/20, MQTT …)
• Working in a motivated and open-minded development team

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science or a related field with a focus on software development
• Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins)
• Solid knowledge of Linux administration, preferably Arch Linux or derivative distributions.
• Knowledge of scripting languages ​​such as Bash and Python for automation
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman)
• A good understanding of network concepts, security, and system hardening.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools is an advantage.
• Independent, structured work style and teamwork skills
• Team player with strong social skills and enthusiasm
• Analytical thinking skills and a willingness to take responsibility
• Excellent English and German skills.
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
