As a DevOps Engineer you will work with a team to design, implement, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines; ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with containerization using Docker or similar technology
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
  • Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
  • Experience with configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
  • Collaborate with development teams to develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems by monitoring and troubleshooting issues, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations
  • Work with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications into production environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to improve the overall development lifecycle
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend improvements to our DevOps processes
