Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Mid–Senior Level)
Location: Remote (USA)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 (based on experience).

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in AWS or Azure (EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, Security Groups, etc.)
  • Solid experience with Terraform (or Ansible/Pulumi) for IaC.
  • Experience with Docker and at least one container orchestration tool (Kubernetes preferred).
  • Strong skills in CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy or PowerShell).
  • Comfortable with Linux system administration and networking concepts.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or ELK.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3–7 years of experience to help automate, secure, and scale our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on fluency in AWS or Azure, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and loves building systems that help developers deliver code faster and safer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Manage and automate infrastructure through Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Deploy and manage microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE).
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, etc.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate DevOps best practices into SDLC.
  • Implement security controls, IAM policies, and secrets management within cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot system and deployment issues in cloud environments.
  • Optimize reliability and scalability of critical services; participate in on-call (if required).
