You will work on a large, business-critical Kubernetes environment, driving automation, improving deployment processes, and ensuring their platform remains stable, scalable, and highly available.

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of the setup, administration, and continuous development of large-scale Kubernetes clusters
• Design and implement automated infrastructure and deployment processes within our cloud environment
• Develop and optimize modern CI/CD pipelines for reliable and scalable software delivery
• Automate recurring operational tasks and infrastructure processes using Infrastructure as Code
• Build and improve monitoring, observability and alerting across our infrastructure
• Develop technical concepts, operational documentation, and standards for the continued evolution of the platform
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, security and automation.

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering position
• Strong hands-on experience administering Kubernetes clusters, ideally in larger or business-critical environments
• Experience with Rancher and Kubernetes autoscaling is a plus
• Solid knowledge of Linux, Bash and shell scripting
• Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform and/or Ansible
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure or Hetzner Cloud
• Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Elasticsearch
