Your responsibilities


: - Building, configuring, and operating an AWS cloud platform with Crossplane

- Developing technology architectures

- Planning and implementing migration scenarios

- Automating the infrastructure according to GitOps principles using Crossplane, Flux, Argo CD, and OpenTofu

- Designing and maintaining development, test, and production environments in a critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environment

- Managing build, release, and deployment processes with GitLab CI/CD

- Ensuring stable and secure cloud operations, including on-call duty

- Defining and implementing operational, monitoring, automation, and testing concepts

Your profile


: - Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification

- Relevant practical experience with Crossplane and professional experience as a DevOps Engineer in the AWS environment, ideally in building and operating enterprise platforms

- Sound knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes (ideally EKS), Infrastructure as Code, and GitOps (especially Crossplane and Flux)

- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and automated build, release, and deployment processes and deployment processes as well as agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)

- Experience operating cloud platforms in highly regulated environments (e.g., critical infrastructure)

- Proficient use of VS Code, GitHub Copilot, Jira, and Confluence

- Experience with monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., LGTM Stack, CloudWatch, Loki) is desirable

- Knowledge of AWS EKS Networking (CNI plugins) is advantageous

- Ideally, knowledge of Go in a Kubernetes environment and experience in large IT projects, preferably in the transportation or logistics sector

- Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
