REQUIREMENTS:

  • Profound experience in a similar role in IT administration, operations management, monitoring, and support of relevant IT operation services/applications.
  • Broad knowledge of technologies such as .NET, Windows Server, MS-SQL, Azure DevOps.
  • Advanced AWS knowledge including deployment frameworks (serverless framework). Skills in Azure are welcome.
  • Knowledge of relevant scripting languages (PowerShell, Terraform).
  • Very good experience in IT service management.
  • Proficiency in English and German (both B2 level or higher) is necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
  • CI/CD: Management and automation of Continuous Integration, Development, and Deployment Cycles, including code merging, compile automation and packaging.
  • Feature Monitoring: Monitoring performance, behavior and availability of system features.
  • Feature Maintenance: Ensuring stability, uptime and maintenance of network, storage, platform, compute, and security posture.
  • Optimization and Controlling: Optimization and controlling of resources, costs and performance, involving parameter and configuration management for RAM usage.
  • AWS/Azure Resource Provisioning: Creation, debugging and usage of Terraform for provisioning AWS resources.
  • Alerting and Incident Management: Identification, coordination, communication, determination, and resolution of errors.
  • Security Management: Determining security risks, managing error budgets, and practicing site reliability engineering.
  • Compliance: Ensuring observability, traceability, and accessibility based on company or norm regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement of DevOps Toolchain and Cycle: Constantly striving to improve through automation, feedback cycles, security enhancements and adapting to changes in the AWS/Azure environment.
  • On-call duty: You will be on the rotating on-call service.
