The Opportunity
DevOps Engineer in Acquiring Division, Tribe Acceptance & Acquiring.
We are seeking dynamic DevOps Engineers to take part in the squad that will further develop our ACQNEX BO, which is integral to the newly established ACQNEX product area. This team is responsible for managing Paysuite, a premier cloud-based back-office application developed by the APAC teams and built using Java technology. This role is critical to our recent partnership with PrivatBank, Ukraine’s largest bank. In this collaboration, Worldline will replace PrivatBank’s existing card payment processing solutions with our advanced technology, handling approximately 40 million cards and 9 billion transactions annually, leveraging Google Cloud. Next to that, the ACQ_NEX product will be further developed to support our customers on the European Market.

• You have a Bachelor and/or Master degree (in IT) or relevant experience
• Ideally a 1st experience as a Backend Developer or DevOps engineer or similar role
• You must have real world and hands-on experience:
• Java (spring boot and/or Angular knowledge is an advantage)
• Postgresql
• Ideally you also know:
• Terraform

• A strong sense of responsibility when working in a critical production environment
• Willingness to participate in support and work outside normal office hours (e.g., during releases and incidents)
• Installation and deployment of software (releases; patches)
• Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions for production errors
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting solutions
• Understanding of security best practices and compliancy standards;

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Your main focus will be on the development and operations side within the Paysuite application and its integration to our Worldline Pay Front Office. The development is done in Java. Additionally, you will take on various operational tasks to ensure the smooth deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the application once it runs in Production. This involves managing and improving CI/CD pipelines, maintaining infrastructure, and optimizing existing processes while looking for new ways to automate routine tasks.
Collaborating closely with development and QA teams for seamless integration and deployment of new features will be a key part of your role, as well as monitoring system performance and resolving incidents to maintain high availability and reliability. Daily, you will discuss possible solutions and ideas with your colleagues to refine development and operational processes.
