About the role We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a Java-related international project with a minimum duration of 1 year. You'll work embedded with a development team, responsible for the quality, security, and reliability of every deployment. If you take pride in well-built pipelines, believe monitoring is a first-class concern, and can communicate clearly in English — this is your role. What you'll do • Administer and operate the API Manager (Kong API Gateway) • Configure, optimize, and maintain Jenkins pipelines • Integrate unit testing and quality control with SonarQube • Implement and maintain logging and monitoring systems using Kibana and/or Grafana • Design dashboards and metrics visualization for the team • Configure security reporting: SAST, DAST, dependency analysis • Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD processes Requirements Must have: • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role • Hands-on Jenkins pipeline configuration and optimization • SonarQube integration and quality gate management • Logging and monitoring with Kibana and/or Grafana • Security tooling: SAST, DAST, dependency scanning • API Manager administration experience (Kong is a strong plus) • English B2 (written and spoken) Nice to have: • Cloud deployment experience, especially AWS • Windows and Linux system administration Conditions Modality: Hybrid — 2 days in office, rest from home Location: Medellín, Colombia Salary: $7,500,000 COP Duration: Long-term (+1 year, with continuation) Languages: English B2 required / Spanish B2 preferred What you'll get • Real ownership of DevOps processes on a live international project • Cross-functional collaboration with Java development teams • Hybrid flexibility with long-term stability • Opportunity to introduce and improve tooling and practices
