Description:

Are you eager to be at the forefront of innovation within Milestone’s cutting-edge Video Management System?
You will join a leading, global provider of video management software and be part of our innovative and entrepreneurial development team. Our mission is to harness the power of machine learning and democratize it within the realm of video data – and by doing so contribute to the future of Milestone. However, doing what we do comes with great responsibility, and for this reason it is crucial that you can stand 100% behind our agenda for ethical tech and responsible use of technology.
As a DevOps Engineer at Milestone you will be responsible for driving the development, automation, and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments. Your expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms will be key in ensuring our infrastructure is highly scalable, automated, and secure. You will work closely with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient code deployment and operations.

ARE YOU THE RIGHT CANDIDATE?

We are looking for a candidate who is self-driven and can excel in a dynamic work environment. Key qualifications include:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Proficiency in containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (including experience with Helm or other Kubernetes-related tools).
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and automated deployments.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security and best practices in containerized environments.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and managing containerized environments with Kubernetes.
  • Proven track record of automating infrastructure and application deployment in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
