DevOps Engineer – Financial Services, CI/CD, AWS, Jenkins, DataDog

I am looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Equity Technology team of a leading financial services organisation based in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and building scalable DevOps solutions in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud adoption initiatives, and improving operational visibility through monitoring and automation. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to drive best practices across the software delivery lifecycle. You will need to design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling. Contribute to the organization's cloud engineering and AWS adoption strategy. Develop and maintain performance testing scripts, frameworks, and automation solutions. Build dashboards and monitoring solutions using DataDog to improve operational visibility. Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders within an Agile environment

• Required Skills3+ years of experience in Software Engineering or DevOps Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proven experience with Jenkins Core and DevOps automation tools
• Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS); AWS certifications are highly desirable
• Experience with software configuration management, test automation, version control, and deployment tools
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, system, and security configurations
• Experience creating dashboards and monitoring solutions using DataDog
