Peraton’s National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to support our impactful SITE III JIOC contract. This is your opportunity to make a difference by supporting critical applications for Collection Management, Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and intelligence operations.
About the Role: As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable and resilient solutions for intelligence analysts, operations, and collection managers. You’ll work on requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, services development, integration, testing, and maintainability.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 10+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 6 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph, or TS with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a polygraph
  • Current 8570 IAT Level II or higher cert such as CompTIA Security+ CE for Privileged User Access (PUA)
  • Programming Language Experience including - but not limited to - Java, Python (Poetry, Flask, etc.) and JavaScript (emphasis on React ecosystem libraries)
  • AWS technologies: Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, DocumentDB,
  • Experience using modern techniques such as REST, JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery, Angular, React), and Docker

  • Experience using Git, Jenkins, Gitlab

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with a Scrum team to develop and enhance enterprise systems.
  • Apply best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, and DevSecOps.
  • Automate testing and integration using Open Source and COTS tools.
  • Develop and integrate bug fixes and new features using tools like Java, Gitlab, Git, and Junit.
