This is what we expect from you

• Solid experience in dealing with Debian/Ubuntu-based Linux systems
• Rudimentary understanding of system architecture, kernel configuration, package management (apt/dpkg) and systemd services
• Confident handling of network configuration under Linux (interfaces, routing, firewalling with nftables/iptables, VLANs, DNS) and general understanding of IP networks (IPv4 & IPv6), routing and firewalling
• Good knowledge of application development in the following languages: Python, Bash (Shell Scripting), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with version control systems such as "git"
• Experience in troubleshooting and methodical approach to problem analysis
• Understanding of cryptographic fundamentals (encryption, signatures, checksums, hashes) and PKI (x509 certificates, CAs, etc.) as well as experience with "openssl"
• Initial experience with "OpenVPN", "SSH" and "docker"
• Handling interfaces to external systems, including for user management via LDAP or OpenID Connect (e.g., connecting Entra-ID for SSO) and retrieving master data, e.g., via REST or SOAP.
• Logging for communication in and with machine networks such as "MQTT" and "OPC UA"
