We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in secure networking, cloud infrastructure, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based systems, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DEVOPS ENGINEER:

• Local to RTP, NC preferred, but remote candidates will be considered
• 3–5 years of experience in IT, DevOps, or network engineering roles
• Strong networking background: BGP, EIGRP, SD-WAN, Cisco Nexus, Routing & Switching
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and hybrid environments
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control (e.g., Git)
• Applied knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53) and secure development practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Design, develop, deploy, and support secure systems across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and support using CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
• Evaluate system performance and implement improvements
• Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and configurations
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Government security and regulatory standards
• Support secure software development and incident response efforts
