Description:

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dedicated team!

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:



    • Instituting and promoting continuous integration/delivery practices within the development team

    • Working with hosting and/or cloud providers to set up application environments and enable smooth and efficient application deployments
    • Developing scripts and making use of continuous integration tools to automate build, software release, and application deployment
    • Provisioning and managing servers, virtual machines, application containers, software licenses and other related resources for the development team
    • Conduct system level security scans, harden system and application platform
    • Manage the operations of cloud infrastructure and application services in production environment.
    • Ensuring infrastructure and services meet compliance standards (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, NIST frameworks) while driving automation, standardization, and best practices.
    • Documenting implementation and maintaining technical documentation to ensure clarity and consistency for future reference

    TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:



      • Passion for automation, standardisation, compliance and best practices

      • Familiarity with Python, ELK, Docker, NGINX, Grafana, and Kubernetes.
      • Experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc).
      • Experience with common AWS resources (Load balancers, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, etc).
      • Experience with relevant CI tools/technologies, such as TeamCity, Github, Gitlab
      • Experience with system administration and scripting on Unix, Linux and Windows environments
      • Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely with Agile development teams
      • Experience with implementing cost-optimization strategies through cloud-native best practices will be an added advantage.
      • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
      • Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Red Hat Certified Engineer, CKA) will be an added advantage
      • Ideally someone who has managed production system and with best practice and compliance in mind.
