MUST HAVES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and operations, release and build engineering;
  • Specialization in infrastructure and application provisioning;
  • Strong background in cloud deployment design and architecture;
  • Familiarity with AWS: S3, EKS, RDS, EC2;
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Jenkins;
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling;
  • Experience building secure applications and methodically improving application performance (Profilers, APM tools, Security scanning tools);
  • Well versed in build and release engineering, process re-engineering;
  • Highly experienced with automation tools, IT operations and DevOps methodology;
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team;
  • Has experience working with an emphasis on early engagement between development and operations;
  • Strong focus on code quality, repeatable processes, automation, and infrastructure defined in code;
  • A solid understanding of the challenges of distributed systems;
  • Upper-intermediate English level.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborates on platform feature architecture such that the architecture aligns with operational needs and opportunities;
  • Needs to have an emphasis on early engagement between development and operations, code quality, repeatable processes, automation, and infrastructure defined in code;
  • Cultivate deep understanding of business needs and technical roadmap and set clear quality standards in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineering Leads;
  • Maintain and extend existing test automation framework, as well as evaluation and build out of any new frameworks in support of our automation needs and strategy.
