We are looking for a DevOps Engineer- Server Automation (f/m/d) BMC/Linux/Scripting. As an expert you are responsible for the designing, architecting and deploying global server automation solutions to meet business requirements. Furthermore you will be in charge and able to solve complex server and operating system related issues and finally provide ongoing server administration support as required.

Responsibilities
  • Strong OS and scripting knowledge to develop and maintain content
  • Documenting solution configurations, operating run books, and training manuals
  • Training operations staff on the day-to-day operational support activities related to the server automation solution
  • Regularly consulting with the IT teams and lines of businesses with regards to the server automation solution
  • Capacity and performance management, short and long-term capacity planning in collaboration
  • Maintaining regular alignment with customers and service providers, technical experts and customers
  • Identifying opportunities to optimize operations and consolidation of services
