Position: Full-time Location: Remote (must be US-based) About the Role We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to support and scale our cloud-based healthcare SaaS platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this mission-critical role, you will ensure 24/7 uptime, high availability, and security compliance for systems used by healthcare providers and pharmacies. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure that meets strict performance, reliability, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Ensure 24/7 uptime and system reliability for production environments supporting real-time healthcare operations Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of application and infrastructure changes Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Google Deployment Manager Monitor system health, latency, and performance using Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or similar tools Respond to infrastructure incidents quickly and conduct postmortems to prevent recurrence Implement and maintain disaster recovery and failover mechanisms for critical workloads Support HIPAA and other compliance requirements through access control, logging, encryption, and data isolation Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize deployment processes and identify potential performance bottlenecks Assist with cost monitoring and optimization of cloud resources Required Qualifications 5+ years professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure role Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred) Proficient with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins) Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred) Proven experience maintaining production systems with high availability requirements Familiarity with healthcare security standards such as HIPAA and data encryption best practices Preferred Qualifications Google Cloud certification (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Architect) Experience supporting healthcare SaaS platforms Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog Experience with incident response tools (e.g., PagerDuty, Opsgenie) Annual Salary $180,000—$190,000 USD Benefits/ Perks Strive Pharmacy provides a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses various perks such as employer paid healthcare coverage available after 30 days of employment, the choice of an FSA/HSA, a voucher for new hire scrubs (if applicable), parental leave, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, and the benefit of weekends and holidays off.
