Description
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is a fast learner and able to work independently. While we provide guidance and support, you should be proactive, resourceful, and persistent in solving problems and navigating unfamiliar challenges. As a consulting company, this role will involve working on client-facing projects across different industries and environments. The projects you support may vary depending on your skill set and business needs, but are primarily focused on AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure automation. You’ll be responsible for deployment and infrastructure-related activities across multiple cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Government Cloud environments. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, QA, and project managers to establish DevOps best practices and maintain reliable deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities: Candidates can be expected to: Coordinate with Software Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to deploy and maintain applications. Set up and manage Development, UAT, and Production environments. Manage releases and deployment activities across multiple environments. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines primarily using GitLab CI and related DevOps tooling. Automate deployments across different architectures, including containerized and microservices-based applications. Work with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native tooling to support infrastructure and deployment requirements. Prepare backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Build documentation and SOPs for deployment and operational processes. Research, propose, and implement DevOps, automation, and infrastructure best practices. Monitor and troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure-related issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Fresh Graduate up to 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or related roles. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins. Comfortable working in Linux and/or Windows Server environments. Ability to write scripts to automate operational and deployment tasks. Good troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment. Nice to Have: Experience with monitoring and logging tools. Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
