Job Description About the Role and Company EC1 Partners are working closely with a fast-paced electronic trading firm that is scaling its infrastructure function as it builds the next generation of ultra-low-latency systems for global markets. Based across New York and New Jersey, the firm is hiring a DevOps Engineer to optimize and automate critical systems powering real-time trading strategies. What You Will Do Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) Automate deployment and monitoring of microservices Work with developers on performance tuning and observability Support containerization with Docker and Kubernetes What You Bring 3–5 years in DevOps or SRE roles (ideally in FinTech or finance) Strong command of Linux systems, Python/Bash scripting Hands-on experience with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible Familiarity with latency-sensitive trading environments Self-starter mindset with strong troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure. They will also automate deployment and monitoring of microservices and support containerization.
