REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in programming in Python, Java, Scala, Go, or similar languages
• Understanding of the AWS Cloud platform and infrastructure as code
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflow tools
• Candidates must be located within commuting distance to our Pleasanton office, as you will be expected to come into the office 3 days a week

THE ROLE

The Veeva Labs team builds and maintains products used by both Veeva and Veeva customers. Veeva Labs also incubates new products which, if taken to market, get absorbed into other Veeva organizations. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain a robust, scalable, and operational infrastructure to support multiple products in a dynamically changing environment. Your focus will be ensuring Veeva’s product updates are delivered quickly and with the best quality possible. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Implement DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment
• Develop, deploy, and manage CI/CD workflows, automating tasks across the full lifecycle to enhance developer experience and efficiency
• Construct, manage, and deploy infrastructure utilizing Helm, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Recommend architectural enhancements, design, and integration solutions, and establish methodologies and best practices
• Aim to minimize the risk of reliability-related failures, focusing on durability, availability, performance, and correctness
• Be a strong advocate and enforcer of test driven development and automated testing
