This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: NCR JobType: full-time We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and help build, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys automation, and takes ownership of infrastructure reliability and performance. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with development, QA, and security teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, improve system observability, and ensure smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable software releases Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalability, cost, and performance Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for production systems Monitor system health, performance, and security using logging and monitoring tools Identify and resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and application reliability Implement best practices for security, compliance, and access control across environments Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational runbooks Required Skills & Experience 3–6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting (Bash) Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable) Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and troubleshooting Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or CloudWatch Understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, DNS, and security groups Experience working with Git and version control best practices Good to Have Experience with Helm, service meshes, or Kubernetes operators Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation Exposure to high-traffic or large-scale production environments Scripting experience in Python or Go What We’re Looking For Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ownership mindset with attention to reliability and performance Ability to work collaboratively across teams Excellent communication and documentation skills
