Description
Company Description Wix makes it possible for anyone to succeed online. Since 2006, we’ve grown to around 5,300 employees in 22 countries, launched over 40 products, and serve over 299 million users and their visitors worldwide. At Wix, we push you to innovate and evolve in non-traditional ways. We operate in collaborative, high-performing teams, building cutting-edge products and leveraging AI to redefine how our users create, manage and grow their dreams online. Although we’re already industry leaders in web creation and business, our work is nowhere near done. Our goal is to become the main engine of the Internet so we can create a more open web for all. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Wix was built around the idea that everyone has the right to be successful, online. This same vision defines us as an employer: creating a work environment where everyone is welcome, and anyone has the right to succeed. Job Description As an Infrastructure Security Engineer, you'll design, build, and operate the security platforms and controls that protect Wix's production infrastructure at scale - from Kubernetes clusters and cloud environments to identity and secrets management. You'll work across multiple security domains, building systems that enforce policy, detect threats, and give engineering teams secure-by-default guardrails. In your day-to-day, you will: Design, build, and operate supply chain security controls - governing what software and dependencies enter our production environment Own and evolve our secrets and identity management infrastructure, including policy lifecycle and multi-environment operations Build policy-as-code frameworks and continuous compliance enforcement across Kubernetes, IaC, and cloud environments Deploy and manage runtime security and detection tools, and build automation for incident investigation and response Design and ship infrastructure changes across multiple data centers and cloud regions, collaborating with infrastructure teams on security, reliability, and cost alignment Leverage AI-assisted engineering workflows across your work - from design and implementation to debugging, code review, and security operations. We use AI as a daily force multiplier, not an afterthought Qualifications 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or security engineering in production environments Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Java or similar). We work across multiple languages and use AI to move fast - what matters is engineering fundamentals, not a specific language Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (operations, policy enforcement, networking) and at least one major cloud platform (AWS or GCP) Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Helm) and managing infrastructure at scale Solid understanding of network security, IAM/RBAC, and cloud security fundamentals Ability to design and build systems - not just operate them. We need engineers who think in platforms Strong collaboration and communication skills - you'll work across infrastructure, security, and product teams Additional Information We are Wix's Infrastructure Guild. We're at the core of building and maintaining the production and CI/CD environment. Our mission is to improve production performance, security, and resilience to ensure 99.99% uptime for millions of users and drive our developer velocity. We design, develop, and operate cutting-edge technology and robust tools to service Wix's Infrastructure needs City: Tel Aviv Department/Company: R&D
