About the role
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help maintain and grow our tech platform that accelerates application engineers’ productivity and operational excellence. The DevOps team enables the business to grow through systems, tools, and processes to support correctness, improve operational, adopt scalable system designs, manage costs and improve engineering productivity. As an engineer on Wonder’s DevOps team, you will participate in these outcomes by building new components of the Devops platform, customer support, and automation. This work ultimately supports every area of our business, from the production of tens of thousands of meals daily, through to delivery to our customers. Your contributions in this area will help Wonder continue to innovate and grow.

The experience you have

• Bachelors degree(or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related software engineering roles.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The way you work

• Working with public cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Developing in and building and deploying containers to production.
• A modern orchestration and scheduling system such as Kubernetes
• Proficiency in relational and document databases. We are using MySQL, Postgres, Cosmos DB and MongoDB.
• Building software in at least one programming language.
• Designing and implementing tools to automate customer needs like CI/CD or deploying a new application.
• Collaborating with Software Engineers to both improve engineering quality and accelerate development

Base Salary: $144,000 (plus equity)
