JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and motivated DevOps Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will contribute to improving the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will collaborate closely with Development, Operations, and Product teams to ensure smooth production operations, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment and contribute to cutting-edge technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and Prometheus.
  • Practical experience with DevOps practices, particularly in the financial services industry, and familiarity with SOX compliance.
  • Understanding of low-latency trading systems and regulatory frameworks like SEC is preferred.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies, high-frequency trading systems, or quantitative analysis tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • A proactive attitude and a strong interest in the intersection of technology and finance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience or interest in blockchain, quantitative finance, or high-frequency trading environments.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team and contribute to global initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, focusing on minimizing downtime and improving system performance.
  • Analyze resource utilization (CPU, Memory, Network) and identify performance bottlenecks, optimizing middleware configurations (e.g., Redis, Kafka).
  • Assist in implementing security measures and compliance strategies in line with financial industry regulations (e.g., SEC, FINRA).
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Use monitoring tools like Prometheus to ensure system reliability and high availability.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies in DevOps processes.
