Description:
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team on a short-term contract. You will play a critical role in achieving SOC 2 certification by enhancing infrastructure security, migrating services to AWS, and implementing robust monitoring solutions, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and stability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform gap analysis and implement SOC 2-compliant controls.
- Secure Windows Server VMs, AWS infrastructure, and Microsoft SQL Server (encryption, access controls).
- Migrate Oracle Cloud virtual machines to AWS EC2 using VM image transfers.
- Deploy infrastructure using Terraform and automate data jobs execution.
- Configure logging, monitoring, and disaster recovery (Grafana, Loki, CloudWatch).
- Document processes and support external SOC 2 auditors.
