Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve our current AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Design, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines; oversee deployment processes across multiple environments (dev, staging, production).
  • Support engineering teams on SRE-related tasks, including troubleshooting, monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and set up infrastructure for new projects and services.
  • Work closely with security and risk team to ensure best practices are followed and security issues are mitigated properly and timely.
  • Closely monitor AWS bills and continuously optimize infra costs.
  • Contribute to automation efforts, tooling improvements, and overall DevOps strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total IT/software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on DevOps.
  • Strong AWS experience (certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred).
  • Familiarity with Terraform is a must.
  • Background as a developer is preferred (e.g., familiarity with at least one major programming language such as Python, Go, Node.js, or Java).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS Codepipeline, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.).
  • A deep understanding of Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
  • Solid understanding of SRE concepts, monitoring, and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Experience supporting fast-paced product development and ability to work in an agile startup environment.
  • Good understanding of security best practices, including secrets management and least privilege.
  • Bonus: Experience with blockchain infrastructure and deployments.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
