Description

We’re Project Lary, a team of product, tech, and design specialists based in Munich and Berlin. We specialize in creating digital products that deliver exceptional user experiences for forward-thinking companies. Our expertise spans from messaging to e-commerce, and from logistics to construction. Our cloud-based web and mobile applications set the standard for digital innovation.
In this position, you will lead and shape the future of our Lary OpsHub team. The Lary OpsHub empowers our product teams with a rock-solid, secure production infrastructure so they can focus 100% on user-oriented features as well as offering DevOps consulting services to our clients.
We’re looking for a highly experienced DevOps professional who not only brings technical excellence and best practices to the table, but also has the ambition and mindset to take over leadership responsibilities — both operationally and strategically.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer with a strong background in building and operating cloud-native systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior DevOps role, ideally in fast-paced environments (startups, agencies, or scale-ups).
  • Experience with Azure or AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerization, serverless infrastructure, CI/CD, compliance and observability.
  • 1+ years of experience in technical leadership: mentoring team members, leading projects, or owning a critical system.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with a bias for clarity, automation, and high impact.
  • Bonus: experience with Jira Service Management, ITIL processes, or team operational planning.
Responsibilities

This role is a hybrid between hands-on DevOps engineering and technical leadership, with a strong development path toward full team leadership responsibilities:
