Description
Optimiza is seeking a highly skilled DevOps/Linux System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, configuration, and optimization of our Linux servers and systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Linux-based systems and ensure optimal performance and security. Install, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware and software, including web servers, databases, and application servers. Develop and implement automation scripts for system deployment and administration, incorporating tools like Ansible Monitor system performance, availability, and security; implement improvements and resolve issues. Experience in advanced Linux tools, clustering, hardening, and Satellite Solid understanding of OpenShift and/or Kubernetes platform, including deployments, trouble shooting and administration. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures thoroughly. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in Linux administration and system security. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator or in a comparable role. Strong expertise in Linux distributions (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu). Solid understanding of with automation tools like Ansible Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM). Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to resolving technical issues. Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
