Description

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps/Site Reliability engineers by setting clear expectations, defining measurable success metrics, and fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence
Provide stable, secure, and reliable infrastructure across our production and non-production environments, ensuring high-availability, performance, and operational resilience while supporting engineering agility
Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to support fast, reliable software delivery
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS), ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency
Drive infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Identify possible efficiency gains through AI
Establish and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and rapid incident response
Provide a strong leadership presence, establishing and coaching a growth mindset and culture that includes active mentorship and career progression
Partner with engineering, security, and product teams to align infrastructure strategy with business goals
Drive stakeholder engagement and change management for infrastructure initiatives, ensuring new capabilities are effectively communicated, aligned to business and engineering needs, and successfully adopted across the organization
Manage on-call rotations, incident response processes, and post-mortem reviews
Oversee capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve system reliability and team efficiency
Provide production support as part of a 24/7 on-call rotation
