THE ROLE: This role will lead a team of engineers and architects, and requires planning skills, ability to create and execute strategy, problem solving for services development to build and deliver results. The role also requires strong knowledge of DevOps frameworks and the ability to drive products and service development. You must be actively using software engineering skills in an Engineering manner and will be responsible for running Infrastructure as code, application/software development with DevOps practices, automation and continues improvements. Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include (but not limited to): Drive automation across platforms and processes wherever possible. Partner with product teams and infrastructure engineering to design, develop, and deliver against the product roadmap Define and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and supporting documentation for CI/CD pipelines Work closely with the operations and delivery teams to ensure and smooth transition into operations for ongoing BAU management. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of automation platforms and tooling. Oversee the Google Cloud environment, DevOps solutions, and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency . Contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of cloud and on-premises infrastructure and environment governance frameworks. ABOUT YOU: We’re looking for a seasoned DevOps leader who is currently managing a team and brings deep technical credibility across cloud and hybrid environments. This role requires a hands-on leadership style, strong cloud expertise (including Google or similar Cloud Platform), and a passion for driving automation, consistency, and engineering excellence across DevOps and infrastructure functions. To be successful in this role you will have: Extensive senior-level experience leading DevOps or software engineering functions Demonstrated experience overseeing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, with strong expertise across On-Premises and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Passionate advocate for consistency, repeatability, and maintainability as core principles of delivery Strong drive to champion automation and eliminate manual processes across teams and platforms.
