In this role, on the day-to-day, you’ll manage and oversee the various projects and tasks involving DevOps work. The DevOps team defines, builds, monitors and manages everything from server installation and maintenance to automatic recovery, from security and network automation to DB management, using technologies such as K8S, Micro-Services, Redis, ELK, Sparc and Cassandra. Responsibilities Build our Infrastructure and Big Data DevOps roadmap. Research and implement new/best DevOps practices and processes including automation, CI/CD, and service discovery Lead a team of DevOps engineers experts running our cloud infrastructure Add visibility and monitoring infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, etc Implement tools and procedures in support of Deployment and CI/CD infrastructure Work with developers, automation engineers, and the company’s customer-facing teams to architect solutions that increase efficiency Maintain multiple, consistent environments (Development, QA, and Production) Enforce security principles and practices as needed Monitor and suggest ways to reduce cloud costs Requirements 5+ years of experience in a DevOps position. 2+ years in a lead/management position Solid understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably GCP - Must. Experience in containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, GKE - Must. Strong scripting capabilities (bash/python – advantage) Experience with remote management of large server farms Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch – advantage) Broad experience with monitoring services and tools Broad experience with configuration management Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment in simultaneous projects Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; enjoy working in both individual and team settings Very High proficiency in both speaking and writing English Working at PIPL null
