We need to accelerate the modernization of our platform by migrating our AKS CaaS containers to the Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) PaaS. While the team has the expertise to maintain the current environment, the available capacity is insufficient to quickly complete this crucial transformation while ensuring ongoing operational activities.

Therefore, we are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in Azure OpenShift with Kubernetes/OpenShift expertise to accelerate the transition to a more secure, standardized, and sustainable PaaS platform. This will reduce technical debt, vulnerabilities, and operational risks, while simultaneously strengthening automation and security posture.

Tasks

This resource will:

- Accelerate the migration from the AKS environment to ARO

- Reduce the technical risks associated with the current platform

- Improve the security posture and compliance of container environments

- Increase the automation and standardization of deployments

- Provide a modern, scalable, and easier-to-operate PaaS platform for application teams

Requirements

1. Essential Criteria

Platform Expertise

- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, SRE, or cloud platforms

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production and on Azure

- Experience with OpenShift (ideally ARO)

- Proficiency with Docker containers and containerization platforms

- Experience in microservices development (with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Angular)
